Anyone can compete, and it's a great chance to sharpen your public speaking skills.

Stewart Paterson, the Glasgow Times' political correspondent, and Lucy Dunn, social media editor for The Spectator, are both University of Glasgow alumni.
Also on the panel is Graeme Roy, Professor in Economics, as well as Dean of External Engagement in the College of Social Sciences, also at the University.

Come along to the Glasgow University Union Reading Room on Wednesday the 6th of December for the last Dialectic event of the semester.
Take a well-deserved break from studying and get into the festive spirit with us. We are also delighted to confirm that, as an early Christmas present to literally everyone, the Publicity Secretary has promised to never open his mouth for the entire month of December!
