Who will take home (hold for a few minutes then put back in its case) the coveted trophy? Who will deliver the best rhetorical speech? Which judge will disgrace the competition by falling asleep mid-round? Where are my car keys? The answers to all these questions and more will, I hope, be found this Friday at the GUU.
If you're interested, please sign up using the link in our bio, and consider coming along to our public speaking workshop on Wednesday as well!

Join us in the Glasgow University Union Bridie Library on Wednesday the 22nd of January for maybe the least comprehensible event on the Dialectic calendar (even including the dinner with the mad song).
At the Backwards Debate, 8 of the best speakers in the society (and the Publicity Secretary) will debate a hard-hitting motion, but in reverse. Each speaker can and will dictate what the next has to say, whether that's an impromptu Michael Bublé number or something slightly less soul destroying. We hope you come along to watch the chaos!
